Swami Purnachaitanya was born and brought up in The Netherlands, and his mother being from India, spiritual values and meditation were an important part of his upbringing. Swamiji came to India in 2007 to dedicate his life to service and his Master’s vision, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, of a violence-free, stress-free world, through the re-awakening of human values in society. Since then Swami Purnachaitanya has been traveling extensively, conducting various programs, already personally reaching out to more than 500,000 people in India, Asia, Africa and Europe.
A Swami is one who is 'established in the self' and acts as a spiritual guide and works for the benefit of society. Purnachaitanya is the name given to him by his Guru, or spiritual Master, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. It means one whose consciousness (chaitanya) has the quality of fullness (purna).
In this unique opportunity, on his tour of tour of the African continent, he will be inspiring young people, leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals to develop their full potential through practical knowledge, breathing techniques and meditation.

Rafting (Optional)
The rivers of Himachal Pradesh are exciting and tough to conquer, driving up the spirit and the adrenaline of the river rafters no doubt. It is a challenge to the body, mind and soul and with waters that run at speeds above the levels of human reach, any adventure seeker with grit and determination would want to overcome the challenge, while having fun as well.
Trekking
Trekking in Himachal Pradesh is one of the most adventurous activities that you can take on. Literally meaning the ‘Abode of the Himalayas’, the state is probably the frontier region when it comes to high mountain treks in the country. With names of places that are already very well known amongst the crowd that loves adventures, a visit to Himachal must always entail that you will be taking on at least one of the many famous treks here.
